Where do YouTube downloads go?

Where Premium YouTube downloads go
iPhone / iPad: Open YouTube → Library (bottom) → Downloads. Videos play only inside the app. They do not appear in Files, Photos, or iCloud Drive.
Android: Same—YouTube app → Library → Downloads.
Desktop (YouTube Premium): Limited offline on web. Most people use Premium offline on mobile only. There is no C:\YouTube Downloads folder for Premium content.
Premium files can expire if you cancel or go too long without connecting online. They're licensed for offline viewing, not file ownership.
Where browser downloads go on Windows
When you save an MP4 or MP3 from a converter in Chrome, Edge, or Firefox:
Default path: C:\Users\YourName\Downloads
Find it fast:

- Sort by Date modified—newest on top.
