These terms cover using Videozify’s browser-based converters. The software is provided as-is, without a warranty. You are responsible for holding rights to every file you convert. Local processing does not grant a licence you did not already have.
Videozify is a conversion toolkit that runs in your browser. By using it, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not drop a file. Privacy describes what the site does with media — it does not take a copy.
Who may use Videozify?
Anyone who can run a supported browser and who has the legal right to process the file they drop. There is no account. There is no age gate beyond ordinary ability to use the web. This is not a children’s product.
You must not use the tools to commit a crime, to traffic in child sexual abuse material, or to circumvent DRM. The engine failing on a protected iTunes file is expected. Do not try to force it.
Are you responsible for the files you convert?
Yes. You represent that you hold the rights — or a licence — needed to convert and to keep the output. Videozify never sees the file and cannot check a cue sheet, a release form, or a studio contract.
Extracting a soundtrack you recorded is the intended case. Pulling a commercial film’s score to post as MP3 can infringe copyright. Processing on-device removes a third-party copy. It does not make an infringing copy lawful.
Is there a warranty or uptime promise?
No. The site and the in-browser engine are provided “as is” and “as available.” Conversion can fail because a file is corrupt, a codec is unsupported, or the tab ran out of memory. There is no service-level agreement and no refund, because there is no conversion fee.
Output quality is a function of the source and the preset. A second lossy encode will not restore a master. Keep originals. About describes the single-thread wasm build and its speed trade.
What about the download you keep?
The file you download is yours to store on your device. Videozify does not retain it. You are responsible for how you share that file afterwards. A local encode is not permission to upload the result to a public feed.
Do not send media to Contact. There is no inbox that will convert a file for you. Guides under Guides explain jobs such as bitrate and shrinking video. They are not legal advice.
How is the site funded?
Videozify is free and may show Google AdSense ads. Ads are not a licence to your files and do not receive dropzone contents. Cookie and opt-out details are in Privacy and Cookies.
Can these terms change?
Yes. The dateModified on this page is the stamp for the current text. Continued use after an update is acceptance of the update. There is no email list that will notify you, because there is no account.
If a provision is held unenforceable, the rest remains. These terms are the entire agreement for using the public website and its in-browser tools.
