Who operates this site?

Videozify is independently operated at videozify.com. We provide free, in-browser audio and video conversion. The site is supported by advertising rather than a paid plan or an account wall.

Does Videozify upload my files?

No. There is no media-processing server and no media POST endpoint. A dropped file is read with the browser File API into memory in this tab. A worker transcodes it. You download a blob. Close the tab and those blobs are gone.

You can confirm this in DevTools → Network while a job runs. You should not see a multi-megabyte upload of the file you dropped. The upload-architecture guide walks through that check.

What data do we collect?

We do not collect the contents of files you convert. We do not create accounts, conversion histories, or mailing lists.

The host that serves this website may keep ordinary access logs for page and asset requests: time, IP address, user agent, and path. Those logs are not the contents of a dropzone. They exist to run, secure, and debug the site.

If you email us, we receive whatever you put in that message. Do not attach media you wanted converted. Email is not a dropzone.

Advertising (Google AdSense)

Videozify uses Google AdSense to display ads. Google, as a third-party vendor, uses cookies to serve ads based on a user’s prior visits to this website or other websites. Google’s use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to this and/or other sites on the Internet.

You may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings. Alternatively, you can opt out of a third-party vendor’s use of cookies for personalized advertising by visiting aboutads.info. Google’s advertising policies are at policies.google.com/technologies/ads.

Ads do not receive your dropped media files. The conversion path and the advertising path are separate. A cookie that remembers an ad interest is not a copy of your MP4.

Cookies

Conversion itself does not need a cookie. Advertising partners may set cookies and similar identifiers in your browser. The cookie policy lists categories, Google’s role, and how to control them.

Analytics

This site does not currently load Google Analytics or a first-party analytics product. If that changes, this policy will name the tool and what it measures.

Children

Videozify is a general-purpose converter for adults. It is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, email [email protected] and we will delete it.

Your rights and requests

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal information we hold, or to object to advertising cookies. We do not hold conversion files we could return to you, because those files never reached us.
